DAVID MYLES LEWIS DISPLAYS A VERSATILITY THAT IS IMAGINATIVE, TASTEFUL, AND CHARISMATIC.

David Myles Lewis is a versatile and accomplished composer for visual media. He has written music for all major networks including ABC, CBS, NBC, Netflix, FOX, USA, Hulu, Peacock, Paramount + and PBS, as well as for clients like Cadillac, Dropbox, GAP, Vogue, Peroni, and more. He is most notably a composer for the show Survivor on CBS.

A solid, articulate, and dynamic musician, Lewis is a seasoned player who has become one of the most sought-after live and studio drummers in Los Angeles. From 2006, he has performed and recorded with some of the biggest names in music, including The Weeknd, Louis Cato, Mike Stern, Richard Bona, George Thorogood, Mirror Talk, Arohi Ensemble and Robby Krieger (The Doors).

After a decade of performing and touring, Lewis was drawn to the world of music production and film scoring. This inspired him to enroll in USC’s Thornton School of Music where he earned his Master’s Degree in Screen Scoring. David utilizes a vast repertoire, influenced by Indian classical music, African percussion, jazz, pop, and modern electronic music.

Whether working with a director to create a musical narrative for film or helping to unleash an artist’s creativity, Lewis is a remarkably intuitive and expressive storyteller. He is focused on the journey rather than the destination.

Most recently, Lewis has been composing music for network television as one of Burnett Music’s most in demand composers. He is a prominent composer on shows such as Survivor, Shark Tank, On Brand, Destination X, Temptation Island, Generation Gap, Claim To Fame, The Real Love Boat, The 2024 Paris Olympics, American Gladiators, Beat Shazam, Ring Nation and the Real Housewives Series.

Lewis recently finished composing music for the film Arsonland, by Emmy Award winning and Oscar nominated director, David Darg, as well as Jack and Lou starring Linda Hamilton, and its Audio Drama Podcast starring Lisa Kudrow. Lewis has worked on many other films/shows, including He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (Netflix) Held (Magnolia Pictures) The Kissing Booth 3 (Netflix) No Ordinary Life (CNN) LOL (Lionsgate) NYAD Trailer (Netflix) the Main Title Theme for the show Generation Gap (ABC) and countless others.
