DAVID MYLES LEWIS DISPLAYS A VERSATILITY THAT IS IMAGINATIVE, TASTEFUL, AND CHARISMATIC.

David Myles Lewis is a versatile and accomplished composer for visual media. He has written music for networks such as Netflix, FOX, and PBS, as well as for clients like Cadillac, Dropbox, GAP, Vogue, Peroni, and more.

A solid, articulate, and dynamic drummer, Lewis is a seasoned player who has become one of the most sought-after live and studio musicians in Los Angeles. He has performed and recorded with some of the biggest names in music, including Mike Stern, Richard Bona, and Robby Krieger (The Doors).

After a decade of performing and touring, David was drawn to the world of music production and film scoring. He collaborated with Madame Gandhi on the film Lanka and was then commissioned to score original music for major commercial clients.

This inspired him to enroll in USC’s Thornton School of Music where he earned his Master’s Degree in Screen Scoring. David utilizes a vast repertoire, influenced by Indian classical music, African percussion, jazz, pop, and modern electronic music.

Whether working with a director to create a musical narrative for film or helping to unleash an artist’s creativity, Lewis is a remarkably intuitive and expressive storyteller. He is focused on the journey rather than the destination and owes every success he’s had along the way to the support of his music community and family.
